Selzee automates the research-heavy backend of creative marketing: competitor ad research, hook and angle discovery from ads, reviews, Reddit and social, creative brief generation, UGC creator sourcing and management, social posts, and creative performance analysis.

The situation before Leadalf

Selzee ran outbound the way most B2B teams start: a purchased contact list, a generic enrichment tool, and an outreach sequencer bolted on separately. None of it knew whether the person on the other end had shown any interest in the problem Selzee solves, automating the research and creative-brief work behind ad testing. Every connection request went out cold, to someone chosen by title and company size and nothing else. Selzee runs a similar playbook for its own clients: research what is already working (reviews, comments, trending angles) before spending on creative, rather than guessing and testing blind. Its own outbound was doing the opposite.

What changed

Selzee moved to Leadalf and consolidated onto one tool. Leadalf sources leads from live buying signals across LinkedIn, Reddit, the Meta Ads Library and job postings, runs a two-stage AI filter over each one, enriches the contact (role, verified email, phone), and delivers it straight into HeyReach for the LinkedIn sequence. No separate list purchase, no separate enrichment step, no second subscription to reconcile against the first.

"We dropped the bought lists. These people are already talking about the problem we solve." Founder, Selzee

The results

Selzee's LinkedIn connection requests are now accepted at 65%, past the 50%+ band Expandi's 2026 report calls excellent, and more than double the 28.5% average across the 13.2 million requests in that dataset. Its reply rate is 55%, above the 35–50% range benchmark reports call top-tier for LinkedIn outreach, and more than five times the 10.4% average campaign. Both gauges above show the same pattern: Selzee is not incrementally ahead of a typical campaign, it is running past the top of the published scale on both metrics that decide whether outbound works at all, whether someone accepts the request, and whether they reply once they have.

Why the numbers moved

The mechanism is the same one Selzee's own product is built on: research before you reach out. A cold, context-free LinkedIn request is a guess about who might be interested. A request sent to someone Leadalf has already matched to a live buying signal (a LinkedIn post, a job posting, an ad-library entry) is not a guess. Public benchmark data backs the direction of that effect directly: engaging with a prospect's content before sending a request is reported to push acceptance rates above 60% on its own, against 20–30% for a cold, context-free one. Selzee's 65% is consistent with that mechanism, not an outlier from it.

How we compare it

The Selzee figures on this page are Selzee's own numbers, reported directly by the person who ran the campaign and confirmed before this page went live. We did not measure them ourselves. The comparison figures are public 2026 benchmark data, cited so the Selzee numbers have something real to sit next to rather than standing alone:

  • 28.5% acceptance-rate average: Expandi's 2026 outreach report, 13.2 million connection requests.
  • 25% / 30–45% / 50%+ acceptance bands (floor / good / excellent): the same report.
  • 10.4% average LinkedIn reply rate, and the 10–25% / 25–35% / 35–50% average / strong / top-tier bands: 2026 LinkedIn outreach benchmark reports.

Neither benchmark is Leadalf's own data, and neither vendor is affiliated with Leadalf or Selzee.

What's next

This is the first published case study on Leadalf's site, and the same rule that got it published applies to the next one: a name and a number go up together, once the company behind them has confirmed both. If your team is running a similar comparison, the free calculators work from your own numbers rather than a benchmark, and the guides cover the method behind this result in more depth than a single page can.
